We want our chicks to be as healthy and hearty as possible going into winter and we know you do too.  That's why we don't sell our chicks until they are at least 2 months old. There is no minimum requirement, but these are social birds and do better with company. We recommend other peacocks.  Turkeys and pheasants are closely related and make suitable companions, but we highly discourage against housing with chickens. 

Peafowl eggs are much more difficult to hatch than chickens and the chicks require much more care. For that reason, we cannot offer refunds and we will not sell chicks until they are several weeks old. We want to be sure they have the healthiest start possible. 

Egg laying season here begins in late April and extends through late July. If you're interested in hatching your own, please reach out to be added to our waitlist.
